Huntingdon Placepot picks: Tom Segal with three bankers for Sunday's meeting

The Fitzdares Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon (1.52) is extremely competitive and with only six runners it's best to put two in any Placepot perm.

Getting 6lb from the other principals, Funambule Sivola would be the first on the list but Master Tommytucker has lots going for him as well and is also worth putting in.

It's a similar situation in the Fitzdares Cotswolds Club Is Coming Soon Novices' Chase (12.47) because all five look above average and it might be too risky to bank on one, with only two places counting.

Oscar Elite is the obvious one but he did fall last time and so it's worth including Honest Vic too. He's better than he showed at Exeter.

The most competitive race on the card looks to be the conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle (1.17), although that could look stupid if Vee Dancer is another Ronan McNally special. He's going to take up a lot of the lines and has no worthwhile form yet, so I would leave him out and go with the more solid options of Noble Savage and Annual Review.

The other three legs don't look quite so tricky to get through and after his impressive win at Hereford last month, Moriko De Vassy looks banker material in the opening novices' hurdle (12.17).

Similarly Good Luck Charm is going to be hard to keep out of the places in the mares' bumper (2.57) after her excellent effort at Aintree last time.

Finally, with Pipesmoker surely wanting further, the Fitzdares Loves Nick Luck Daily Handicap Hurdle (2.27) is best left to Zacony Rebel, who was impressive at Fontwell. There should be plenty more to come from him.
