Chelmsford Placepot picks: Robbie Wilders lays down the perm
Cracksman has made a bright start to life at stud and two of his four offspring to grace the track made winning debuts. The well-bred Crackoviamight be able to follow suit in the opening novice (5.00) at Chelmsford.
Indian Dream nearly struck on his debut at Newmarket last month and should also be included.
Three-year-olds receive a hefty weight-for-age allowance in the next leg (5.35) and 50-rated pair Cape Cornwall Rose and Kelapa aren't in the worst form, so can hit the frame in a weak 7f contest.
Kessaar's brother Kodiac Sign has a strong chance of gaining a first career victory in the 7f maiden (6.10) granted normal improvement for his seasonal return in a decent little race last time.
Saeed bin Suroor's sole representative at the meeting, Light And Dark, struggled at Meydan earlier this year but is interesting back on home soil down in class in the next (6.45).
The 1m2f handicap (7.20) can go to Sharpcliff, who scored with real authority on his seasonal return and should have plenty more to offer this campaign.
Handicap debutante Naadyaais the most interesting runner in the final leg (7.55) for Owen Burrows. She was sixth in a strong maiden won by Ribblesdale favourite Sea Silk Road recently and must be interesting off a mark of 67.
