Tuesday tipping: our experts around Britain and Ireland reveal their best bets

Newmarket: David Milnes

Nearooz (8.10 Wolverhampton, nap)

Roger Varian has his team in top shape and this daughter of New Approach is expected to defy a penalty for her maiden win last year after some smart work on the Al Bahathri.

Others to follow
Yarmouth: 1.30 Take It Down Under, 2.00 Quiet Place, 2.35 Swiss Peak, 3.05 Stealth Fighter, 3.35 King Of Comedy, 4.05 Camachess, 4.35 Grandfather Tom.
Lingfield: 4.55 Weloof, 5.25 Come On Tier, 5.55 Poor Auld Paddy, 6.25 Alnasherat, 6.55 Turqoise Friendly, 7.25 Awsaal.
Wolverhampton: 5.10 Tha'ir, 5.40 King Of rooks, 6.40 Robero, 7.10 Global Acclamation, 7.40 Local Affair.

North: Colin Russell

Jack Lamb (3.45 Sedgefield, nap)

No match for a well-handicapped subsequent winner when runner-up on return from a break at Wetherby last time. Will be all the better for that run and with the ground in his favour on a track that suits, can go one better.

Others to follow
Lingfield: 6.25 Prairie Spy, 7.55 Rich Cummins.
Sedgefield: 1.40 Sultans Hero, 2.15 Paddling, 2.45 Thelongwayaround, 3.15 Fair Loch, 4.15 Carter McKay, 4.45 Midnight Antics.
Wolverhampton: 5.10 Adventureman, 5.40 Magical Molly Joe, 6.10 Hussar Ballad, 6.40 Lamloon, 7.10 Antico Lady, 7.40 Samstar.
Yarmouth: 2.00 Companion.

Lambourn: James Burn

Airwaves (4.05 Yarmouth, nap)

Promising filly won twice last term and there is a feeling the handicapper has not caught up with her.

Others to follow
Lingfield: 4.55 Arctic Sea, 5.25 Creek Harbour, 5.55 Temujin, 6.25 Motagally, 6.55 Habub, 7.25 Dotted Swiss, 7.55 Torolight.
Ludlow: 2.55 Manning Estate.
Sedgefield 4.45 Martha Brae.
Wolverhampton: 7.40 Cherries At Dawn, 8.10 Sweet Poem.
Yarmouth: 2.00 Endless Joy, 3.05 Monoxide.

West Country: Andrew King

Master Burbidge (3.25 Ludlow, nap)

Has not won since last spring but has shaped of late as if the step back up to three miles should suit.

Other to follow
Ludlow: 4.25 Virak.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Ballyellis (3.55 Ludlow, nap)

Has dropped 9lb in the weights since finishing a fair seventh in a stronger race over course and distance in February and is entitled to go close if running to a similar level.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Ivanovich Gorbatov (4.40 Fairyhouse)

Last tasted success three years ago and has been in the wilderness since. Hinted at a return to his best last time and could end his barren spell.

Longshot: Ben Harris

Tudor City (4.40 Fairyhouse)

Travelled well in the Ladbrokes Hurdle at Leopardstown before finding trouble turning for home. He made good late progress once in the clear to suggest he has a win in him off this mark and Eoin O'Connell takes a further useful 5lb off.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Denmead (4.40 Fairyhouse)

An 11-length winner of a novice hurdle at Wetherby last month following wind surgery, this six-year-old appeals on his handicap debut and can prove the pick against 16 rivals.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

Mark Johnston and Joe Fanning have been a formidable partnership at Lingfield this year with ten winners from 23 runners so far (+£38.32 to £1 level stakes). The pick of their two chances is Rich Cummins in the 1m4f handicap at 7.55.
