Newmarket: David Milnes

Dahawi (4.40 Kempton, nap)

Ran on well to score at this trip at Chelmsford on his debut and has since worked nicely on the Al Bahathri.

Others to follow
Lingfield 1.30 Limerick Lord, 2.40 Raucous, 3.50 Nonios, 4.25 Miss Green Deam.
Kempton 5.45 Kyoto Star, 6.45 Treasure Me, 7.15 Grey Britain, 7.45 West Coast Flyer.

North: Richard Young

Silva Eclipse (2.55 Haydock, nap)

Has shown improved form at this course on his last two starts, including when stepped up to this trip on similar ground last time out. The Sue Smith-trained six-year-old is 4lb higher but is fancied to notch his second win in this sphere.

Others to follow
Ascot 1.35 Top Ville Ben, 3.55 Waiting Patiently.
Haydock 1.25 Mega Yeats, 1.55 Shades Of Midnight, 2.25 The Paddy Pie, 3.35 Wakanda, 4.10 Highland Hunter, 4.45 Ardea.
Kempton 5.15 Alicia Darcy, 6.45 Made Of Honour, 7.15 Watersmeet.
Lingfield 2.05 Reggae Runner, 2.40 Alsvinder, 3.50 Mythical Madness, 4.25 George Hastings.

Lambourn: Nicholas Deacon

Terrefort (2.45 Ascot, nap)

One of the leading novice chasers last season, but injured himself first time out this term, and did well to finish only three lengths adrift of Frodon on return from a two-and-a-half month absence at Cheltenham three weeks ago. Was in need of the race and is fancied to step up on that performance here.

Others to follow
Ascot 12.30 I Can’t Explain, 5.00 Eyes Right.
Haydock 1.25 Laskadine, 1.55 Yanworth, 2.25 Scorpion Sid, 2.55 Full Glass.
Lingfield 2.20 Chop Chop, 2.55 Desert Doctor, 4.05 Isomer.
Wincanton 1.45 Bigmartre, 3.30 Sandhurst Lad, 4.35 Penn Lane.

West Country: Andrew King

Bolving (3.30 Wincanton, nap)

Has had a few chances of late and not taken them. However, connections have found a great chance for him to open his chasing account.

Others to follow
Ascot 12.30 Deise Alba, 1.00 Air Horse One, 1.35 Mister Malarkey, 2.10 Reikers Island, 2.45 Clan Des Obeaux, 3.20 Getaway Trump, 3.55 Politologue, 4.30 Worthy Farm.
Haydock 12.50 Quel Destin, 1.25 If You Say Run, 2.25 Warthog, 2.55 Sykes, 3.35 Ramses De Teillee, 4.10 Rockpoint, 4.45 Ballotin.
Wincanton 1.10 Lord Duveen, 1.45 Magic Saint, 3.00 Grand Sancy, 4.05 Ask The Weatherman, 4.35 Doubly Clever, 5.10 Soulsaver.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Ruby Yeats (5.10 Wincanton, nap)

Shaped as if she could be poised to take advantage of a decent handicap mark when running her best race to date for her current yard at Plumpton last month.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Waiting Patiently (3.55 Ascot)

Won this twelve months ago and Ruth Jefferson's stable star can prove a cut above his rivals.

Longshot: Sam Hardy

Lisp (3.20 Ascot)

A strongly run race will suit this Alan King-trained hold-up horse. Second last time out over course and distance, expect him to be involved in the business end of the race.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Duc Des Genievres (3.40 Gowran Park)

Performed creditably without winning in Grade 1 novice hurdles and has a big chance here on third start over fences following his third to stablemate Cilaos Emery at this course last month. The extra half mile will suit.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

Since the start of 2018, Jamie Snowden is 4-5 at Haydock. One of those winners, Scorpion Sid, bid to enhance that superb record at the track in the 2.25.
