The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Thursday

BANKER

Executive Force (6.55 Chelmsford)

William Haggas thought a lot of this son of Sepoy early in his career and although he didn't show his full potential for him, or on his first few starts for Michael Wigham, he is in flying form of late for his new yard and it is unsurprising he is moving up the ranks at a rate of knots. Having recorded two victories over a mile at Newcastle and then dotting up on his first try over this course and distance last time, Executive Force is open to more improvement and should be able to hold off the likely favourite Forbidden Planet with ease.

GOOD THING

Cashel (8.25 Chelmsford)

Another improving son of Sepoy who seems to have developed physically and mentally since moving to Mick Appleby's yard in December. Although sent off at big prices on his first two starts for the stable, Cashel finished with a flurry on both occasions to finish fifth and second respectively over 7f at Kempton and it was no surprise to see him enter the winner's enclosure when upped to a mile at that track last time out. The form of that race doesn't look bad for the grade at all and I would be shocked if he couldn't follow up off a 5lb higher mark.
