The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Friday

BANKER

One For Rosie(1.10 Warwick)

The inclusion of Paul Nicholls's My Way will hopefully mean One For Rosie goes off around 5-2, which would be a cracking price for a really talented horse who is highly regarded by connections. A ready winner of a Bangor bumper in the back end of 2017, One For Rosie was given just over a year off before maintaining his unbeaten record in impressive fashion at Carlisle despite racing keenly. The second that day was Glen Forsa, who is now rated 150 over fences and beat Kalashnikov the other day, while the third has proven consistent in novice hurdles for Sue Smith. He didn't show his true running on soft ground last time out but conditions look ideal for him get the winning thread back.

DARK HORSE

Cobolobo (4.20 Exeter)

The Devon National isn't a race I would want to be playing a max bet, but I'm interested in Jonjo O'Neill's Cobolobo and will back him each-way in what looks a competitive renewal. Promising over trips shy of three miles early in his career, Cobolobo was pulled up on his first two starts of 2018 and underwent a wind operation, which has clearly helped. Despite jumping right on his reappearance, he finished a highly creditable second to the talented Kilbricken Storm before looking outpaced over 3m1f at Wincanton last time out. He stays all day so the step up in trip looks set to suit.
