The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with one to follow on Tuesday
BANKER
Allegiant (3.30 Brighton)
Stuart Williams's three-year-old Allegiant is the sole tip today, and I fully expect him to follow up his recent Epsom victory at Brighton off topweight. I was at the Downs when he won nine days ago and was pretty taken by his front-running display, finding a nice turn of foot to go beyond recall on his first start in handicap company against an above-average field for the grade. He handled the camber pretty well aside from hanging slightly right coming around Tattenham Corner, which suggests he should be fine here at Brighton, and he must have a massive chance of dominating once more under a penalty. I spoke to Williams after the race and he told me that he can be a quirky sort, but he'd try to get him out under a penalty given how well he won. He's done just that.
