BANKER

Coolanly(3.25 Chepstow)

Fergal O'Brien won this last year with subsequent Grade 1 winner Poetic Rhythm and he can score again with Coolanly, who comes into this with a similar profile. Highly regarded by connections, the point-to-point winner won his first two starts at the track. He then gave the very smart Vinndication – now rated 149, remains unbeaten – a run for his money at Leicester, and he could have won if he hadn't tried to take the last flight with him. Outclassed in an undoubtedly strong renewal of the Ballymore, he stayed on best in another Grade 1 behind Lalor at Aintree. He sets the form standard and will be suited by any rain.
