Newmarket: Anthony Burke

Fields Of Athenry (5.45 Wolverhampton)

Looked as if there was plenty left in the locker when scoring on debut at this venue and strongly fancied to follow up.

Others to follow
Wolverhampton: 5.15 Bubbly, 6.15 Nabbeyl, 6.45 You Never Can Tell, 7.15 Delilah Park, 7.45 Grey Britain, 8.15 Cloudlam.

North: Richard Young

Forest Des Aigles (3.15 Aintree, nap)

Progressive chaser with a fine strike-rate and better than ever when winning on reappearance at Ayr. This sound jumper should take to these fences and is fancied to run well.

Others to follow
Aintree: 12.25 Katachenko, 1.00 Dubai Angel, 1.30 Highland Lodge, 2.05 Definitly Red, 2.40 Chica Buena.
Wetherby: 12.05 Thelongwayround, 12.40 Benny's Secret, 1.10 Howth Summit, 1.40 Little Bruce, 2.15 Cornerstone Lad, 2.50 Fair Loch, 3.25 Artichoke Heart.
Wolverhampton: 5.15 Fieldsman, 5.45 Rich Cummins, 6.15 Capla Crusader, 6.45 Charming Kid, 7.15 Highland Acclaim, 7.45 Final, 8.45 Man Of Verve.

Lambourn: James Burn

Giving Glances (2.40 Aintree, nap)

Alan King joked recently he has had this race in mind since June for the three-year-old, who shaped well on her hurdling debut at Hereford last month.

Others to follow
Aintree: 11.55 Champagne Mystery, 1.00 Mahlervous, 1.30 Missed Approach.
Chepstow: 12.20 Sandhurst Lad, 1.25 Dominateur, 1.55 Flemcara, 3.40 Young Bull.
Sandown: 12.15 I Can't Explain, 12.50 Papagana, 1.20 Another Emotion, 2.25 Apple's Shakira, 3.00 Altior, 3.35 Milansbar.
Wolverhampton: 5.45 Sunvisor, 6.45 Quiet Endeavour, 7.15 Little Palaver, 7.45 Not So Sleepy.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

Ramses De Teillee (2.30 Chepstow, nap)

Produced a perfectly respectable effort in the Badger Ales at Wincanton last month when conditions would have been plenty sharp enough. A dual course-and-distance winner who is fancied to add to that tally with conditions ideal.

Others to follow
Aintree: 11.55 Eldorado Allen, 12.25 Chef D'Equipe, 1.30 Vieux Lion Rouge, 3.15 Shanahan's Turn.
Chepstow: 12.20 Atirelarigo, 12.55 Easyrun De Vassy, 1.55 Merry Milan, 3.05 Mercenaire, 3.40 Poison Arrow.
Sandown: 12.15 Zanza, 12.50 Queen's Magic, 1.20 Ice Cool Champs, 1.50 Lalor, 2.25 I'm A Game Changer, 3.35 Royal Vacation.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Tomkevi (1.10 Wetherby, nap)

Nicely treated on the pick of his hurdling form and, up in trip with the headgear back on after a recent spin over fences, he should go well for his in-form yard.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Blaklion (1.30 Aintree)

Ran his rivals ragged in this gruelling marathon 12 months ago and should be to the fore again under similar conditions.

Longshot: Olly Eden

Missed Approach (1.30 Aintree)

Warren Greatrex’s yard has been among the winners and his gelding was a game winner of the Kim Muir in March before disappointing last time in a race that may have come too soon. Effective on heavy going, his proven stamina could come to the fore in this likely stamina-sapping test.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Ben Dundee (1.35 Navan)

Followed up an encouraging chase debut behind Delta Work at Down Royal by winning comfortably at Punchestown three weeks ago. Can follow up.

The 12.15 at Sandown is a race Nicky Henderson has targeted over the years. Of the 12 runners he's sent since 2008, seven won and three of the other five placed. He took it with a newcomer in 2013 and bids to repeat that with I Can't Explain this time around.
