Sandringham winner Agrotera can go close on favoured conditions

Credit: Edward Whitaker

Newmarket: David Milnes

(4.45 Newmarket, nap)

Roger Varian's six-year-old was second in this race two years ago and should be suited by the return to a more galloping track. Sheikh Obaid's hope has worked well on the Al Bahathri of late.Others to follow
Newmarket 1.50 Laugh Aloud, 2.25 Mrs Sippy, 3.00 Yourtimeisnow, 3.35 Mustashry, 4.10 Velorum.
Haydock 1.35 Hazarfan, 2.05 Brancaster, 2.40 Lady Aria, 3.50 Astronaut, 4.25 Amourice, 4.55 Fondest, 5.25 Blooriedotcom.
Newcastle 5.45 Special Mission, 7.15 Mr Gent, 8.15 Qawamees, 9.15 Crash Helmet.

North: Richard Young

War Department(7.15 Newcastle, nap)

On a very good mark and is much better than his last run over a mile here after taking a strong hold. That race threw up winners and he is fancied to go well back over this more suitable trip.Others to follow
Haydock 1.35 Motahassen, 2.05 Flood Defence, 2.40 Ellheidi, 3.15 Angel Alexander, 3.50 She Can Boogie, 4.25 Rayna's World, 4.55 Markazi, 5.25 Saryshagann.
Newcastle 5.45 Island Song, 6.15 Brendan, 6.45 Ninjago, 7.45 Rock Warbler, 8.15 Mon Beau Visage, 8.45 Havana Star, 9.15 Go Roo.
Newmarket 1.50 Ellthea, 3.00 Main Edition, 4.45 Communique, 5.15 Little Jo.
Worcester 2.50 Special Prep, 3.25 Chasma.

Lambourn: James Burn

Agrotera (1.50 Newmarket, nap)

Royal Ascot winner might have needed her outing at Haydock two starts ago, but was right back at it last time and a repeat of that – on conditions she should relish – puts her in the mix.Others to follow
Haydock 3.15 Amplify, 4.25 Mt Augustus, 4.55 Fastar.
Newcastle 9.15 Come On Bear.
Newmarket 2.25 Star Rock, 3.35 Accidental Agent, 4.45 Raheen House, 5.15 Medieval.
Worcester 2.15 Salto Chisco, 2.50 Beat That, 4.00 Peggies Venture, 5.05 Captain Peacock, 5.35 Boychick.

West Country: Andrew King

Impulsive American (4.35 Worcester, nap)

Takes a drop in grade and the lesser company is expected to help him regain the winning habit.Others to follow
Worcester 4.00 Novis Adventus, 5.05 Serosevsky, 5.35 Aldrin.
Haydock 1.35 Master Grey.

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Mudawwan (7.45 Newcastle)

Hardly setting the world alight at present but his mark is easing, he's down in grade and returns to the all-weather. He remains well treated on his early season form and entitled to bounce back.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Regal Reality(3.35 Newmarket)

Lightly raced and progressive, but found the ground his undoing last time and is better suited by the expected sound surface.

Longshot: Dave Revers

Capton (5.15 Newmarket)

Progressive this term and has seemingly been kept fresh for this race. Ryan Moore is an eyecatching jockey booking and he has a good draw to work from.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Ming (7.30 Dundalk)

A three-time winner whose victories include one over this course and distance, the Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding performed creditably on his most recent start when a hampered sixth in the Grade 1 Secretariat Stakes at Arlington last month. Beaten just under four lengths, he makes plenty of appeal in this Group 3.

Graham Lee has a 33 per cent strike-rate when riding in Flat races for Kevin Ryan at Haydock (7-21, a £1 level-stakes profit of £60). He takes the mount on Morning Wonderin the three-year-old handicap over 1m6f at 4.25.
