Paul Kealy reveals his must-have banker for Thursday

Matterhorn
7.35 Sandown

Sir Michael Stoute has a great record in the Matchbook Brigadier Gerard Stakes (7.35) but his Regal Reality has to prove he stays on his first crack at 1m2f in tonight's running and there has to be a doubt about that given the speed on his dam's side.

He needs to improve a great deal to beat Matterhorn, assuming the latter is none the worse for running on soft ground at Chester a couple of weeks ago.

He surprised me with how well he handled the surface when a battling second to Forest Ranger and I'm sure this high-quality all-weather performer, who trounced Wissahickon at Lingfield on Good Friday, will be more at home on quicker ground. If he is, he will be very hard to beat.
