Passionate Love should relish step up in trip on handicap debut

Credit: Alan Crowhurst

Newmarket: David Milnes

Tenedos (8.30 Kempton, nap)

May well have got too far back when a fast-finishing fourth at the track nine days ago. Hugo Palmer's hope has bounced out of that and can make amends.

Suggestion (4.00 Hexham, nap)

Lightly-raced hurdler who won at Wetherby last year and has run three decent races this season. On a fair mark now and fancied to go well on return from a break.

Tai Sing Yeh (3.10 Brighton, nap)

Twists and turns of this track might just spark some improvement in Charlie Hills's contender, who has some okay form on fast ground this summer and is down to an attractive mark.

Others to follow
Brighton 3.40 Dance Me, 4.40 Kirkland Forever, 5.40 Yogiyogiyogi
Kempton 7.00 Mukhaater, 8.00 Mankind, 8.30 Mapped
Worcester 2.50 Cultivator

West Country: Andrew King

Represented (3.50 Worcester, nap)

Ran well enough when runner-up to suggest a big run here with things in his favour.

Others to follow
Worcester 4.20 Midnight Sapphire

Racing Post Ratings: Simon Turner

Decoration Of War (8.00 Kempton)

Looked an improved performer on first start for new yard last time, winning in good style at Wolverhampton. Fairly treated on revised mark and fancied to follow up.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Imbucato (3.10 Brighton)

Escapes a penalty for his pillar-to-post course success a week ago and can follow up.

Longshot: Sam King

Passionate Love (9.00 Kempton)

This well-bred filly could show significant improvement stepping up to 1m4f on her handicap debut.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Pleasure Dome (5.15 Galway)

Stamina won't be an issue for the Willie Mullins-trained five-year-old, who gets the vote to complete a hat-trick following wins in a novice event at Ballinrobe and a handicap at Sligo. She won readily last time and can cope with a 13lb rise in the ratings.
