Newmarket: David Milnes

Ours Puissant (7.15 Kempton, nap)

The son of Kodiac did not cut much ice on his debut on the July course in the summer but has looked in better shape in his work on the all-weather of late and can collect at the second time of asking.

Others to follow
Bath 2.10 Michaels Choice, 3.15 Gentle Look.
Catterick 2.00 Red Saree, 2.30 Clem A, 3.05 Sharja Silk, 5.10 Plucky Dip.
Kempton 6.15 Lufricia, 6.45 Blue Mountain, 7.45 Corrosive, 8.15 Parting Clouds, 8.45 Thistimelastyear, 9.15 The Fiddler

North: Colin Russell

Kibaar (3.35 Catterick, nap)

Has been in good form recently, gaining second win of the year when scoring in good style at Newcastle last time. Just as effective on turf and with a strong pace likely, is fancied to give another good account.

Others to follow
Bath 3.15 Anyonecanhaveitall, 4.20 Minty Jones, 6.00 Ravenhoe.
Catterick 2.00 Gale Force Maya, 2.30 Conundrum, 3.05 Beeno, 4.10 Last Chance Paddy, 4.40 Highway Robber, 5.10 I Am Dandy.
Kempton 6.45 Mondain, 7.15 Al Thoorayah.

Lambourn: James Burn

Grapevine (8.15 Kempton, nap)

Useful gelding has dropped to an attractive mark and won a jumpers' bumper at this venue for Nicky Henderson in the spring. Now with Charlie Hills, the 1m3f trip should be ideal.

Others to follow
Bath 2.10 Comete, 2.45 Look Surprised, 3.50 Peace And Plenty, 4.20 Yogiyogiyogi, 6.00 Big Bad Lol.
Catterick 2.00 Orchid Killer.
Kempton 5.45 Formiga, 7.15 Times Past, 7.45 Manson, 8.45 Pact Of Steel.

West Country: Andrew King

Scorpion Star (5.05 Newton Abbot, nap)

Has not looked the easiest to win with but a drop in class and a decent pace could see things fall in place for him.

Others to follow
Newton Abbot 2.20 Green Or Black, 2.55 Risk And Roll, 4.00 Valhalla, 4.30 Bradford Bridge
Bath 2.10 Lady Wolf, 3.50 War Of Succession, 4.20 Devil Or Angel

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Secret Potion (4.20 Bath)

Posted best effort this year to finish close third at Chepstow last time and lurking on a nice mark judged on last season's form.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Sharja Silk (3.05 Catterick)

Has had plenty of chances but sets a decent standard and can gain an elusive first success.

Longshot: Samuel King

Rainbow Jazz (3.50 Bath)

Stays this trip well and is clearly in good heart at present. It would be of no surprise if he went well from the front in this competitive handicap.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Cadmium (4.15 Roscommon)

Although disappointing when favourite at the Galway festival on his most recent start, the Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old has plenty of experience and can achieve a fourth win over fences.

Archie Watson is 5-9 with his horses at Catterick, including a perfect 3-3 record with his two-year-old runners (+£3.76 to £1 stakes). Orchid Killer looks one to note on her racecourse debut at 2.00.
