Evening Angles: trainer form, RPRs and jockey stats for Wolverhampton tonight

Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back at Wolverhampton tonight based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, jockey statistics. . .

Trainer form

Paradise Boy
6.45 Wolverhampton
Angle: Andrew Balding has won with five of his ten runners in the last fortnight

In the last two weeks, Andrew Balding's form figures read 1114162191 which is a serious boost to the chances of Paradise Boy at Wolverhampton.

He showed some good form when winning well on his penultimate start before finishing a solid second last time. He starts his life in handicaps in a competitive race and he will need to improve to win, but with his trainer in red-hot form there is every chance of that.

RPRs

Rock Warbler
5.40 Wolverhampton
Angle: joint-highest on RPRs but is a much bigger price

The Michael Mullineaux-trained runner has not been at his best for a while, but the six-year-old is on a falling handicap mark and could be well-treated in this open contest.

He has an RPR of 75, a rating shared by Blessed To Empress and Kilbaha Lady, and although he lacks the recent form of that pair, he is an appealing each-way price.

Wild card

Executive Force
6.15 Wolverhampton
Angle: Franny Norton has a 22 per cent strike-rate in the last fortnight

Franny Norton has won with five of his last 19 rides while Executive Force's trainer Michael Wigham has been operating with a 33 per cent strike-rate. The pair are in good form, but it is the horse who has the better record having won four of his last five races, finishing second in the other.

He was beaten by a smart odds-on favourite last time and is fancied to continue his improvement this evening.
