Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back this evening based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, first-time blinkers.

Trainer form

Chapmanshype
8.05 Ffos Las
Angle: Jamie Snowden's recent strike-rate

Trainer Jamie Snowden has been operating at a strike-rate of 33 per cent over the last two weeks (four winners from 12 runners) and bids to enhance that statistic with Chapmanshype at Ffos Las.

The five-year-old has only four races under his belt, which include a bumper win at Punchestown last October, and makes his handicap debut this evening off a mark of 110.

He has shown promise in his two hurdle runs to date and he is an intriguing runner.

Racing Post Ratings

Monsieur Noir
6.50 Salisbury
Angle: Clear of rivals on RPRs

Roger Varian has his string in good form and Monsieur Noir should go close to boosting his tally.

The son of Shamardal, who was fourth on debut behind Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner Royal Marine at Doncaster in September, has improved on that effort with two runner-up spots since.

A three-quarter length second in a 16-runner maiden at Newbury saw him produce his joint-top RPR of 82 and he is clear on ratings ahead of nearest rival Amplify.

Wildcard

Mo Tottie
7.05 Ffos Las
Angle: fitted with a first-time tongue-tie

Mo Tottie's form figures are not inspiring at first glance but the Peter Bowen-trained runner wears a tongue-tie for the first time, which could produce some improvement.

Bowen is two from seven with such a runners, a strike-rate of 29 per cent, and there is a chance such equipment could produce a better effort from the five-year-old mare.
