Dolos can make the long trip from Somerset worthwhile at Carlisle

Newmarket: David Milnes

Sajanjl (12.05 Southwell, nap)

Has run into some decent types on the Polytrack of late including Directory at Kempton last time and is fancied to strike on her first crack at Fibresand. Simon Crisford's filly blew out well for this on the Al Bahathri on Saturday morning.

Others to follow
Southwell: 12.35 Gilded Heaven, 2.15 Katie Gale, 3.20 Maybe Today, 3.50 Dream For Life.

North: Richard Young

Shearian (12.05 Southwell, nap)

Fibresand specialist who hasn't been in the best of form since winning here in January but showed definite signs of a revival last time and will be suited by the return to this track. Big chance from a good mark for an in-form yard.

Others to follow
Carlisle: 12.55 Highland Hunter, 1.30 Uncle Alastair, 2.05 Keep The River, 2.35 Nuts Well, 3.10 Instingtive, 3.40 Mr Scrumpy.
Southwell: 12.05 Shearian, 12.35 Bold Spirit, 1.05 Cupid's Arrow, 1.40 Home Before Dusk, 2.15 The Last Debutante, 2.45 Roaring Rory, 3.20 Victoria Drummond.

Lambourn: Nicholas Deacon

Epatante (12.45 Kempton)

Won a Grade 1 AQPS National Hunt Flat race at Saint-Cloud and pleased connections with her progress over the summer. Has schooled well at Seven Barrows, and is fancied to make a winning debut over hurdles.

Others to follow
Carlisle: 1.30 Euston Lane, 2.05 Versifier, 3.40 Tarawa.
Kempton: 1.50 Before Midnight, 1.15 Kupatana, 2.55 Dans Le Vent.

West Country: Andrew King

Dolos (2.35 Carlisle, nap)

Has the best of the weights in this graduation contest and expected to make the long haul north from Somerset pay off.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Dolos (2.35 Carlisle)

One from six over fences but produced his best efforts on the clock at this trip and is favoured by the figures.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Lexington Law (4.00 Kempton, nap)

Showed improved form in cheekpieces on the all-weather earlier this year and, lightly raced over hurdles, he could prove well-treated on the switch back to jumping.

Longshot: Sam King

Takemeback (Thurles 3.00)

Promising effort last time out when running freely at Clonmel. The drop back in trip looks sure to suit and if settling better a bold show could be on the cards.

Ireland: Brian Sheerin

Mighty Stowaway (12.50 Thurles)

This 122-rated chaser looks to have been found a glorious opportunity by Shark Hanlon and a repeat of his Ballinrobe second to Robin Des Foret is likely to be good enough to score.

Veteran Cousin Khee's record over 2m or further at Southwell is 2112, which means he rates a solid each-way selection at the track for the 2.15.
