Santafiora(4.55 Thirsk, nap)

Ordinary form on the AW on the first three starts for her current yard, but much better effort back on turf when second over C&D last time. Really well handicapped at present and better expected with any rain a bonus.

Others to follow
Ascot 3.00 Eye Of The Storm, 3.35 Clon Coulis, 4.10 Austrian School, 4.45 Venturous, 5.15 Queen In Waiting.
Newmarket 6.10 Sir Victor, 6.40 Five Helmets, 7.10 Masham Star, 8.10 Elegiac.

Atty Persse (4.10 Ascot, nap)

Four-year-old ran well after a layoff when third in the Old Newton Cup and improvement is expected with conditions similar to when he won last year's King George V Stakes over this course and distance. Another plus is trainer Roger Charlton's fine form at present.

Others to follow
Ascot 3.00 Mancini, 3.35 Shepherd Market, 4.45 Vibrant Chords, 5.15 Awesome.
Chepstow 5.50 Roman Warrior, 6.20 I'Lletyougonow, 6.50 Rippling Waters.

West Country: Andrew King

Greeley(6.40 Newmarket, nap)

Came good at Leicester last time in a similar race and is far from exposed so another big run is expected.

Others to follow
Newmarket 7.10 Easy Tiger.
Uttoxeter 2.45 The Wicket Chicken, 3.20 Glanvilles Guest, 3.55 The Detainee, 5.05 Druide Premier.

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Desert Diamond (7.30 York, nap)

Posted career best RPR of 103 to finish second in a Listed event over a mile at Sandown last time. She's been running like a return to this longer trip will suit and could improve again.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

(8.10 Newmarket, nap)

Endured an interrupted passage when winning with plenty in hand at Newbury earlier this month and James Fanshawe's progressive three-year-old can complete his hat-trick.

Longshot: Olly Eden

(6:30 York, nap)

Paul Midgley's gelding has run creditably the last twice without the races being run to suit, and is still 7lb below his last winning mark as a result. This bigger field and likely stronger pace should suit, and he can go well at a price provided luck in running.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

(7.35 Down Royal, nap)

Runner-up in the same event a year ago, the Jim Bolger-trained five-year-old has a big chance of going one better in tonight's 1m6f Listed event having performed well on his two starts this season. He was third over tonight's trip in the Group 2 Curragh Cup last time and he had previously finished second to Order Of St George in the Saval Beg Stakes.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

record at Chepstow with 'firm' in the going description reads 1315131 (+£20.50 to £1 level stakes.) The seven-year-old, who has never won anywhere else on turf, runs in the 5f handicap at 7.50.
