Wilder should have no problem landing bombs on Washington
Heavyweight king can add to KO streak
WBC heavyweight title
Sky Sports 1, 1am Sunday
WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder makes the fifth defence of his title against little-known Gerald Washington in Birmingham Alabama, and he his is a huge favourite to keep his belt.
Knockout specialist Wilder has stopped 36 of 37 opponents and while the level of his opposition has often been questioned, this looks no different.
Washington has stepped in after Poland's Andrzej Wawrzyk failed a doping test. He turned pro only four years ago after a short amateur career and despite holding an undefeated record, this is a massive step up.
Wilder has been sidelined since breaking his right hand and tearing a bicep against Chris Arreola last summer, but assuming his injuries are fully healed he should have no problems adding to his KO record.
