Grady Diangana is still an injury concern.
Eric Bailly is fit, Paul Pogba still out.
Sam Allardyce, the man you call in a crisis, looks to have created one of his own in just a few short weeks back in management – and it's only going to get worse.
Fireman Sam has always been the go-to gaffer if a blaze needs putting out having successfully doused relegation flames at Bolton, Blackburn, Palace and Sunderland over a long, opinion-splitting career.
But maybe his magic hose has finally run dry. Worse than that, it looks like it's sprung a leak just in time for the visit of free-scoring Manchester United.
No-nonsense Sam preached "simplify" to his Baggies boys when he arrived at the club in December but the only simple thing is the truth - they are worse now than they were under Slaven Bilic, can't stop shipping goals and are going down. There, is that simple enough?
To put it even more simply, if the porous Throstles continue to ship goals at the rate they currently are they'll be doomed by Easter.
This isn't quite what the Albion board signed up for when they recruited Allardyce and clearly he can only take so much of the blame.
Every Albion defender looks as if he has got an error in him at any given moment and 28 goals conceded in ten league games under the new gaffer is a staggeringly bad record.
United, the division's away-day specialists and top scorers, should be licking their lips at running up against Semi Ajayi and Kyle Bartley and a midfield which offers scant protection for either of them.
If we combine what we know – United win games and score lots of goals, West Brom lose them and don't score many – then United to win to nil at 13-10 tempts, or at least tempts more than odds of around 1-3 the visitors.
Albion have already lost five matches to nil under Allardyce, four of them at home where they have already shipped 19 goals in five home games, a truly abysmal record.
It's one win in 11 under Allardyce and that was against a Wolves team in terrible nick. They looked to have a chance at Tottenham last week because Spurs are so poor at the moment but even Jose Mourinho's men didn't have to do much to beat them. They just bided their time and waited for the error which duly came.
Allardyce has shuffled formations like playing cards, still can't figure out his defensive shield and they look light up top.
United, in contrast, are unbeaten in the league away from home in over a year and last week produced two of their best performances of the season crushing Southampton 9-0 and then drawing 3-3 with a really good Everton side.
West Brom have conceded 19 goals in five home games under Sam Allardyce
