Preview

Tuesday's Grand Prix action in Lincoln features three players who have yet to win an event in the competition.

Norfolk man Wayne Willgress reached the semi-finals of the World Championship in 2018, beating world number one Greg Harlow.

His recent form isn't at that level, though he reached the final of an early February Grand Prix event where he was beaten by Jason Greenslade.

Willgress will be confident of going one better, but the greyhound racing fan looks worth taking on against Neil Smith in his first match.

Smith failed to make the final despite winning his first match on his last Grand Prix appearance last month.

However, he won 43 per cent of his fixtures last year and has won five of his eight encounters with Willgress.

Smith will have already been in action when he takes on Willgress, as he faces Kevin Rands in the opener.

Rands has won just two of his nine Grand Prix matches this season, but had a 50 per cent win record last year and will see Tuesday as an opportunity to pick up an event.
