Bodvarsson is a physical, hard-working centre-forward but needs to add more goal

Ivan Cavaleiro

Wolves to Fulham, Loan

Mark Langdon

Fulham's spending spree didn't work out last season as they were relegated from the Premier League, but they are clearly showing signs of making a quick return to the Premier League.

A change of system from Wolves boss Nuno to 3-5-2 from 3-4-3 meant Ivan Cavaleiro was surplus to requirements but the winger played his part in getting Wanderers up to the Premier League before also looking a top-flight threat too.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson

Reading to Millwall, Undisclosed

Dan Childs

Millwall have been short of strikers since the departures of Steve Morison and Lee Gregory and have chosen Icelandic forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson to help plug the gap.

Bodvarsson is a physical, hard-working centre-forward but needs to add more goals to his game.

He played 53 league matches for Reading, netting 13 times.

Callum Robinson

Preston to Sheff Utd, Undisclosed

Dan Childs

Sheffield United have shelled out a club record fee to sign Ireland international Callum Robinson on a four-year-contract.

Robinson made four Premier League appearances at his first club, Aston Villa, but failed to break into the team on a regular basis.

The pacy wide forward has revived his career during three seasons at Preston and returns to the top flight with more confidence and experience.

Luke Garbutt

Everton to Ipswich, Loan

Dan Childs

Left back Luke Garbutt was once considered to be a top prospect by Everton but, while he remains contracted to the Toffees, his chances of a top flight career seem to be disappearing,

Garbutt was capped 11 times by England under-21's but he spent last season on loan at Oxford and will remain in Sky Bet League One after signing a temporary deal with Ipswich.

Lewis MacLeod

Brentford to Wigan, Free

Dan Childs

Midfielder Lewis MacLeod is bidding to get his career back on track after joining Wigan on a one-year-contract.

Injury problems blighted MacLeod's time at Griffin Park, restricting him to just 41 league appearances in four-and-a-half seasons.

Wigan will be hoping for a change of luck for MacLeod, who was once highly regarded and featured eight times for Scotland Under 21's.

Dominic Telford

Bury to Plymouth, Undisclosed

Dan Childs

The disintegration of Bury's promotion winning squad continues with the departure of striker Dominic Telford to Plymouth.

Telford had his best year as a professional last season, featuring in 38 league games and scoring six goals for the Shakers, who won promotion against a backdrop of financial problems.

He rejoins his former manager Ryan Lowe, who left Bury for Plymouth over a month ago.

Kieran Dowell

Everton to Derby, Loan

Dan Childs

Derby needed a creative midfielder to fill the void left by their former Chelsea loanee Mason Mount and have opted for Everton's Kieran Dowell, who will spend the 2019-20 season at Pride Park Stadium.

Dowell is highly regarded by Everton but needs to kick on if he is to make it as a Premier League player.

Last season he was loaned to Sheffield United and struggled to nail down a regular place in the team.

Ezri Konsa

Brentford to Aston Villa, £12 million

Dan Childs

Aston Villa manager Dean Smith knows all about England Under-21 defender Ezri Konsa, who he signed for Brentford from Charlton for a reported £2.5 million fee last summer.

Just one year on the Bees are selling the player for almost five times the price.

But Villa will see the move as good business if Konsa helps them to re-establish themselves in the top flight.

Moses Odubajo

Brentford to Sheffield Wednesday, Free

Dan Childs

Right back Moses Odubajo revived his career with a successful second spell at Brentford but decided against exercising an option to add another year to his contract.

Odubajo started his career as a winger but developed into a highly effective attacking full-back.

Serious knee injuries cast a shadow over Odubajo's three-year-spell at Hull but he has returned to a high standard and, at 25-years-old, he is entering the peak years of his career.

Danny Guthrie

Mitra Kukar to Walsall, Free

Dan Childs

Midfielder Danny Guthrie has spent most of his career in English football's top two divisions but will be playing in Sky Bet League Two with Walsall this season.

After his release from Blackburn in 2017, Guthrie accepted an offer from Indonesian side Mitra Kukar.

Guthrie returns to these shores at the age of 32 and will be a great asset if retaining most of his ability.

Connor Mahoney

Bournemouth to Millwall, undisclosed

Dan Childs

Millwall manager Neil Harris was determined to freshen up his squad and is delighted with the capture of winger Connor Mahoney from Bournemouth.

Mahoney was deemed not ready for top-flight football but made 30 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship last season while on loan at Birmingham.

Mahoney he wastes no time in getting crosses into the box and his style of play will suit Milllwall. At 22 years old, he has scope to improve.

Isaac Mbenza

Montpellier to Huddersfield, undisclosed

Dan Childs

Jan Siewert had a tough start to life in the Huddersfield hotseat but liked what he saw from winger Isaac Mbenza, who has been snapped up on a permanent deal.

Mbenza featured in 22 Premier League games last season, scoring just one goal, but played in all three matches for Belgium's Under-21's at the European championship this summer.

The ex-Montpellier man has a lot of pace but his end product will need to improve considerably if he is to be a hit in the second tier.

Pontus Jansson

Leeds to Brentford, undisclosed

Dan Childs

Marcelo Bielsa is not afraid to make tough decisions and has sanctioned the departure of Swedish international centre-back Pontus Jansson to Brentford.

It could be a move that suits all parties.

Leeds get a sizeable fee to help pay for some of the significant signings they have made this summer and Brentford acquire a dominant defender with ambitions to be playing at a higher level.

Youri Tielemans

Monaco to Leicester £40 million

Mark Langdon

The big question here is why were so few top clubs prepared to pay £40m for a young midfielder with international and Champions League experience who also bossed it in the Premier League last term?

Youri Tielemans looked a class act for Leicester during his loan spell with his incisive passing and he is still only 22.

The Foxes have done well with this signing and the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United have surely missed a trick - he would have improved both teams.

Tyrone Mings

Bournemouth to Aston Villa £20 million

Mark Langdon

Tyrone Mings was influential as a loan player for Aston Villa in their promotion to the Premier League and the club seemed desperate to bring him back on a permanent deal.

However, the price is high for a centre-back and Mings, who has suffered serious injuries and is basically unproven in the Premier League, having barely played for Bournemouth, is far from certain to have the same impact in the top flight.

Jack Stacey

Luton to Bournemouth £4 million

Mark Langdon

Luton have made in excess of £10m from selling their full-backs this summer now Jack Stacey is following James Justin in heading to the Premier League.

Right-back Stacey has a bit to find with Leicester's new recruit Justin but Bournemouth needed improving in the full-back areas and there is potential for the 23-year-old to grow into the role.
