West Brom 1-1 Brighton

Brighton were punished for not taking their chances as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Monday and a similar scenario may pan out against relegation rivals West Brom.

The Seagulls are the Premier League's draw specialists with 11 stalemates from 25 matches this season and it was 1-1 when these sides locked horns at The Amex in October.

Swansea 1-0 Bristol City

Promotion-chasing Swansea have lost only one of their 16 Championship clashes at home this season and they can grind out a narrow victory against Bristol City.

The Robins, who will have new manager Nigel Pearson in the dugout, were 3-1 winners at Middlesbrough in midweek but they had suffered seven straight defeats prior to that.

Brentford 2-0 Stoke

Brentford got their Championship promotion bid back on track with a cosy 3-0 win at home to Sheffield Wednesday in midweek and they can follow up by silencing Stoke.

The second-placed Bees have won six of their last seven home league games, while visitors Stoke are winless in eight on the road following Wednesday's 2-0 loss at Barnsley.

Middlesbrough 1-2 Cardiff

The appointment of Mick McCarthy is reaping rewards at Cardiff, who can take their Championship unbeaten run to nine with a seventh straight success at Middlesbrough.

Boro have endured defeat in five of their last six league tussles at The Riverside and the on-song Bluebirds should swoop all three points.

Rotherham 0-1 Reading

Reading are on the ropes after four defeats in five Championship games but the Royals can get their playoff push back on track with victory at relegation-threatened Rotherham.

The struggling hosts have lost four league games on the spin - the latest three ended 1-0 - while Reading have suffered defeat just twice in ten matches on the road.

Barnsley 1-1 Millwall

Four consecutive wins have put Barnsley on the cusp of the Championship playoff places but they may have to settle for a point against a well-oiled Millwall machine.

The Lions are set-up to frustrate the opposition and they head to Oakwell on an eight-game unbeaten run, with five of those Championship contests ending all-square.
