Ekaterina Alexandrova should expect a stern test from her Limoges Open quarter-final opponent Pauline Parmentier.

Alexandrova, seeded eighth in the 125K event in France, has already seen off Olga Govortsova and qualifier Renata Voracova. But while the Russian is improving, Parmentier is bidding to ice the cake after a fine campaign.

Parmentier has ousted Fiona Ferro and Tamara Korpatsch in straight sets to reach the last eight. The 32-year-old used to be a player to avoid but Parmentier has become more competitive late on in her career and she now often offers value in indoor events especially.

Titles this year in Istanbul in April and Quebec in September mean Parmentier merits plenty of respect against Alexandrova.

The best bet of the day could be Anna Blinkova against Margarita Gasparyan.

Blinkova dropped only two games in the course of thrashing Mandy Minella in round two and Tashkent champ Gasparyan has been busy.

Recommendation
A Blinkova
1pt 10-11 general
