Garbine Muguruza is worth a bet in Montreal

Garbine Muguruza produced a meek defence of her Wimbledon title but the Spaniard has a chance to get back to winning ways at the WTA Rogers Cup when she takes on Anastasija Sevastova in Montreal.

Muguruza has not been in great form in recent weeks but she is a threat when on song and bookmakers may have underestimated her chances given that she won the WTA Monterrey Open in her last appearance on a hard court.

Sevastova continues to impress, dominating Aleksandra Krunic in round one, but Muguruza leads their personal series 2-1 and is a class act if she is in the mood.
