Frances Tiafoe should have too much class for Yannick Maden in their European Open curtain-raiser in Antwerp.

Tiafoe has not been in the best of form in recent months, but he's a good-quality act on his day and has shown plenty of willingness to battle in matches away from his native USA in the past.

The Maryland ace, 21, has already been punted to progress past round one in Belgium and while Maden is no stranger to competitive matches featuring long sets, Tiafoe may have enough to pull off a victory.

In the Kremlin Cup, it's a slight surprise to see Egor Gerasimov such a short price to defeat Thomas Fabbiano.

Clearly, the Belarusian should be favourite in Moscow, but Fabbiano is a confirmed battler and Italian players tend to give a good account of themselves in Russia.

Fabbiano is 8-13 with a handicap start of 4.5 frames and could see support.
