Great Britain make their debut in Group E of the revamped Davis Cup Finals when they take on a Holland squad who were beaten 2-1 by Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

The British team, spearheaded by the returning Andy Murray, are heavily favoured at 1-4 to begin their campaign with a victory which would set up a winner-takes-all tie with the Kazakhs on Thursday.

Dutch number one Robin Haase showed plenty of fight to beat Alexander Bublik on day two. But he failed to win the doubles decider alongside Jean-Julien Rojer and his nation probably lacks the depth to trouble Leon Smith's men.

Serbia, with Novak Djokovic in their ranks, are 1-7 to beat Japan while Argentina's meeting with Germany is comfortably the closest of Wednesday's early ties.

In that contest, Argentina, who ran out easy 3-0 winners against Chile in their opener, look a decent bet to advance from Group C with a victory.

Singles aces Diego Schwartzman and Guido Pella are underrated hard-court players who both won in straight sets in their first outings at La Caja Magica and could account for likely opponents Jan-Lennard Struff and Philipp Kohlschreiber before Germany's crack doubles pair Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies are called into action.
