ATP BOSS Stuttgart Open predictions
The ATP Tour grass campaign begins in Stuttgart this week, but Jack Draper will not be back to defend the crown which he claimed in Germany last year.
The British number one is just 9-1 to win Wimbledon next month, and his preparation – which includes a trip to Queen's Club next week – is centred around peaking for the grass Grand Slam.
In Draper's absence, home hope Alexander Zverev is a short-priced favourite in Stuttgart, but the German's meek French Open quarter-final surrender to Novak Djokovic could still be playing on his mind, and he's not one to count on at cramped odds.
Instead, this looks a good chance for Ben Shelton to claim a third ATP title.
The American has not won as often as his talent suggests he should, but he performed well on a less suitable surface at the French Open, reaching the fourth round and losing out to Carlos Alcaraz.
He has all the tools to be a success on grass, and he's well drawn in Stuttgart, where out-of-form Jiri Lehecka is his fellow seed in the second quarter.
ATP Libema Open Den Bosch predictions
Daniil Medvedev and Hubert Hurkacz top the betting for the Libema Open in Den Bosch, but Dutch delight could instead be coming the way of Karen Khachanov, who is drawn on the opposite side to the top two in the market in the Netherlands.
Khachanov's European clay season was not particularly eye-catching, but there were some positives to take from it with a run to the Barcelona semi-finals one particular highlight for a player with a moderate clay record.
Statistically, grass is the 29-year-old's best surface, and while he's not claimed a turf title, he's a seven-time ATP Tour winner who could end his wait this week.
