Pedro Martinez looks a player with a good deal of promise and the Spaniard could be worth a bet to fare better than expected in his Cordoba Open clash with Laslo Djere.

Djere, seeded fourth in Argentina, will be on the oddsmakers’ radar after winning the 500 Series event on Rio de Janeiro last year, but Australian Open qualifier Martinez was in good nick in Melbourne before running into Daniil Medvedev in round two.
