There's a fascinating all-Canadian first-round clash in the Montpellier Open and it is not certain to go the way the markets think it will.

Denis Shapovalov is expected by most to see off his compatriot Vasek Pospisil, but given that the outsider's big serve could be a serious weapon in the indoor event this could be a tricky outing for Shapovalov.

Pospisil is no stranger to contesting tiebreaks, so the handicap start of 3.5 games he is afforded could help backers.

Talented youngster Shapovalov is ranked higher than his Davis Cup teammate, but Pospisil is trying to fight back after seasons decimated by injury and he's a fine player in his own right when he performs anywhere near his peak.
