Sunday's Gibraltar Open snooker betting preview, tip & TV details
Oliver Brown may make Lu Ning toil in quest for quarter-final berth
Eurosport 1, from 9am Sunday
Oliver Brown looks to be producing some of the best snooker of his career but he will do well to surprise Lu Ning in the Gibraltar Open.
The pair have made the last 16 of the world-ranking event on the rock and Lu is rightly favourite against the 24-year-old potter from Derbyshire.
But it's open to question whether the Chinese player should be as short as he is to progress to the quarter-finals.
With handicap marks giving Brown a start of 2.5 frames, the best way of punting on the match could be to take the 4-5 that six or seven frames are contested.
Brown fought back valiantly to deny in-form Jamie Clarke 4-2 in the last 32 and he could keep it closer against Lu, 25, than oddsmakers anticipate.
Lu's compatriots Yan Bingtao and Zhou Yuelong are also through to the last 16 of the best-of-seven-frames event.
