Osasuna v Rayo Vallecano
Osasuna and Rayo Vallecano were both solid mid-table propositions last season and the pair have picked up pretty much from where they left off in La Liga.
Vallecano took a battling 0-0 draw from a trip to Barcelona in their opening game before beating Espanyol and going down to a 2-0 defeat to Mallorca last time out.
Inconsistency was rife for the visitors last season but they will hope to bounce back against Osasuna, who were beaten by ten-man Real Betis last weekend.
Goals were a source of trouble for both outfits in the last campaign with the pair scoring 37 and 39 goals from their 38 games.
The reverse fixture was a 1-0 victory for Osasuna and the pair look unlikely to cut loose now. A goal either way could decide this clash, with under 1.5 goals the selection.
Borussia Monchengladbach v Mainz
Borussia Monchengladbach put in an inspired display last weekend to claim a 1-1 draw against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munch and will be looking to follow that result up as they host the tricky Mainz.
The visitors come into this one following a poor result against Bayer Leverkusen last week when they were beaten 3-0 by a team who finished with nine men.
To add to that Gladbach have won their last five home matches and they have also won five of the last eight meetings and drawn two others.
The signing of Julian Meigl has bolstered the hosts' midfield and they may have too much for the visitors, whose two wins this season have come against likely strugglers Bochum and Augsburg.
Udinese v Roma
Roma have had a busy transfer window, particularly in the free agent market where they have signed Paulo Dybala, Andrea Belotti and Nemanja Matic.
Their new signings have contributed to a strong start in Serie A, as the Giallorossi have won three of their opening four games and drawn the other.
That 1-1 stalemate was against Juventus and the goal they conceded was the only one that they have allowed this season.
Jose Mourinho’s side face a tough challenge in the shape of Udinese, who have bounced back from a 4-2 defeat on the opening day of the campaign with back-to-back wins.
However, Roma and their new signings may have that touch of quality that will decide the game, while the visitors have also won five of the last seven head-to-heads and are fancied for the victory.
