Solid St Patrick's should cause problems for Cork

Cork City appear unbeatable at the moment but St Patrick's Athletic could cause a surprise at Richmond Park.

Cork look odds-on to go through the first series without dropping any points but they have not been all that impressive in some of their away games and Pat's are not as bad as the table suggests.

Saints could make changes in midfield to deal with Cork's dominant engine room and the odds are slightly wrong. The underdogs are defending pretty well and have enough about them in attacking areas to cause Cork problems.

It is questionable as to whether Bray should be outsiders against Shamrock Rovers, even with the suspicion that two wins on the trot will give the Hoops a mental lift. Bray are six points ahead of Rovers and have defended excellently in recent weeks.

Rovers are a work in progress and look at best to have a 50-50 chance at the Carlisle Grounds. They face a team full of confidence, intent on qualifying for Europe this term.

Galway United got a much-needed win against Derry on Monday and can frustrate Limerick, who have been hit and miss this season, at Markets Field. Take United to get a result, with some of their injured players now back in the first 11.

Derry's dire form has been sad to witness and Sligo are probably big at 12-5 in the Northwest Derby.
