Zhang Anda has never been an easy opponent for Marco Fu and that could continue when the pair clash for a place in round two of the China Championship in Guangzhou.

Hong Kong ace Fu has obviously achieved more than his Chinese opponent, but while the pair have not played each other in a meaningful match since 2012, the Happy Valley cueman's 4-3 and 5-3 triumphs were pretty hard won.

Zhang, who is no stranger to making decent breaks, can be considered for the match's highest compilation, but backers of the outsider with a start of 2.5 frames ought to get a decent run for their money.

Fu would have to win at least five of the first seven frames contested for the recommendation to go skyward and that could prove difficult.

Elsewhere, Xian potter Zhao Xintong can be considered against Anthony McGill but the Chinese talent is not exactly being given away at even money.

Recommendation
Zhang Anda +2.5 frames
