Preview

The best-of-seven-frame matches that litter the snooker season can be hugely problematical for punters.

And it's no different in the Champion of Champions, with precious little value on offer on day three in Coventry.

Crucible king Judd Trump, who was crowned World Open champion on Sunday, is on offer at prohibitive odds to defeat Stephen Maguire.

The Scot is playing well this season, but Trump should win if he's in the mood.

The other first-round clash pits Kyren Wilson against Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, who was runner-up to Trump in Yushan.

Un-Nooh beat Wilson 6-5 in the World Open semis on Saturday and there looks no reason why the Thai cannot again trouble the Warrior.
