Final
Quest & Eurosport, 1pm Sunday

It's the final most snooker fans wanted to see - the two most attacking players in the game battling it out for a £70,000 cheque and the opportunity to lift the Alex Higgins Trophy.

Ronnie O'Sullivan deserves to be a 4-9 favourite to see off Judd Trump in the Northern Ireland Open in Belfast but it's far from a gimme for the Rocket and a bet on over 14.5 frames looks the way to go in this race to nine.

And it's likely to be a sprint to the finish with these two on the baize, playing in front of a rowdy crowd on table conditions Trump described as "lovely" following his comfortable semi-final success over Eden Sharav.

This is a much tougher test for Trump, who has highlighted his confidence with dazzling moments of showboating this week, and has a relatively decent record over O'Sullivan. The Ace in the Pack has come up trumps in two of their last five meetings, losing two in the decider and only being blown away once 10-3 in Shanghai in 2017.

Trump has also won four of the seven finals where he has faced O'Sullivan so should be able to hold his own as he bids to end his ranking title drought which goes back to the 2017 European Masters.

O'Sullivan, who claimed last week's Champions of Champions, knocked in three centuries in Saturday's semi-final thriller against Mark Selby which went to the final black of the last frame and this could also be close.
