N Robertson v M Allen
Eurosport 1, 6am Sunday

Neil Robertson and Mark Allen are two of the finest break-builders on the tour and their showdown in the International Championship final in Daqing should be an excellent advert for the game.

On current form, as well as what they have achieved in China this week, there's little to separate the heavy-scoring duo and picking a winner isn't easy.

A rejuvenated Robertson has overcome more obstacles on his path to the final, beating world number one Mark Selby in the last eight before following up against the improving Jack Lisowski.

But Allen was equally as impressive in whitewashing Ali Carter in the quarter-final before getting the better of an in-form Matthew Stevens.

Allen's 9-6 semi-final triumph over Stevens was of an extremely high standard, with fans treated to five centuries and five further breaks of 70 or higher.

The world number 12 contributed to two of those centuries, taking him to ten for the week, and that scoring prowess will need to continue if he is to claim silverware.

Neither player will want frames to turn tactical so big breaks should be their aim and Allen is performing well enough to play an integral part.

Recommendation
M Allen over 1.5 centuries
