Kyren Wilson v Stuart Bingham (7pm)

Kyren Wilson was too strong for the erratic Jack Lisowski in his first contest at Ally Pally but the Warrior is likely to face a far tougher battle against Stuart Bingham.

Bingham looked in decent touch against Mark Williams in the first round and although there haven't been many eye-catching deep tournament runs for Ball Run this season, he has been playing some solid stuff.

John Higgins beat Bingham at the last-16 stage of the UK Championship and the Champions of Champions and the Scot knocked the Basildon man out in the quarter-finals of the World Open. If it wasn't for the Wizard of Wishaw it could have been a far more productive season for Bingham.

That aside, quotes of even-money about a Bingham victory are too big to ignore.

Stephen Maguire v Dave Gilbert (1pm)

It's amazing that Stephen Maguire is still in the Masters after he came from 5-1 down to beat Neil Robertson 6-5 in the first round but the Scot's charmed run looks set to be ended by Dave Gilbert.

Gilbert hammered former champion Mark Allen in his opening Alexandra Palace contest, making breaks of 53, 58, 77, 95 and 121.

That was an impressive performance from the Tamworth man and it was a continuation of the quality break-building that Gilbert has been producing for some time.

The Angry Farmer made the semi final of the Scottish Open in December and prior to that he was beaten in the final of the English Open.

Maguire is a classy cueman but the prices look to be paying him too much respect against Gilbert.
