Day five
ITV4, 1pm & 7pm Friday

The unusual format of the Ladbrokes Players Championship means there is quarter and semi-final action on day five and while Ronnie O'Sullivan will look to continue his domination of the sport on Friday evening, Shaun Murphy and Anthony McGill cross swords in the afternoon.

Murphy has warned his fans about his back twinges in recent weeks but that did not stop him posting a fine display, with runs of 133 and 115, in a 6-3 round-one defeat of Kyren Wilson.

McGill profited from a rare day this season when John Higgins didn't fancy the job with the result being a 6-0 sweep to the younger of the Scots.

McGill has won his last three against the Magician, but the best way of punting on the clash could be to back a break of over 109.5 to be compiled.

O'Sullivan is prohibitively priced to carry on the good work against Judd Trump, who hammered Neil Robertson 6-1 in the last eight, and the Rocket looks difficult to oppose in his current positive frame of mind.

Recommendation
Highest break over 109.5 in S Murphy v A McGill
