Final Group preview

There are just four cuemen left in the Championship League with Stuart Bingham, Ryan Day, Luca Brecel and Ben Woollaston the last potters standing.

After 20 groups of action, there's one final section to decide the winner, and it could see Day crowned champion.

Dynamite came through a devilishly difficult Winners Group containing Judd Trump, David Gilbert and Barry Hawkins and if anything this looks a step down from that level.

Day beat Trump 3-0 in his opening contest of the previous round making stylish knocks of 60, 107, 122 along the way. The Welshman then drew 2-2 against Gilbert and Hawkins and racked-up breaks of 61, 62 and 103.

The Pontycymer potter is one of the best break-builders in the game when on-song and he has looked in excellent nick in this competition.

Bingham is no back number but at 7-4 there doesn't seem to be much juicy in the 2015 Betfred World Champion's price.

Brecel narrowly progressed from the opening phase of this event and again squeezed his way into the final. The Belgian has won just two matches in the event so far and could come unstuck today.

Followers of RP Sport, who took the 250-1 recommended about Woollaston at the start of the tournament, will be hoping the Leicester potter can finish the job but at the revised prices Day looks worthy of support.
