Stuart Bingham v Judd Trump

Head-to-head: Trump leads 22-10

Stuart Bingham produced an excellent second-round display to down Kyren Wilson and the Essex cueman looks excellent value to account for another fancied runner when he takes on Judd Trump.

Trump is clearly capable of better than what he produced in the second round against Anthony McGill, but the Ace in the Pack doesn't always produce his best at the Crucible and the Bristol potter hasn't been anywhere near his peak this season.

Trump has lost his last three Betfred World Championship quarter-finals and Bingham definitely has the scoring power to punish the Ace.

The 2015 world champion looked in fantastic nick when beating Kyren Wilson in the last 16 and the Basildon potter can be supported to reach back-to-back Sheffield semi-finals.

Jack Lisowski v John Higgins

Head-to-head: Higgins leads 5-2

Jack Lisowski relished the role of the underdog when upsetting pre-tournament favourite Neil Robertson in round two and Jackpot will fill a similar role in his quarter-final clash with John Higgins.

Lisowski's performance against the Aussie was in complete contrast to his 10-8 win over Matthew Stevens in round one and it shows the Gloucester potter is a better and more dangerous performer when expectations are lowered.

Higgins hammered Lisowski 13-1 when the pair clashed in the second round of the 2018 Betfred World Championship, but their 2022 meeting is likely to be far more competitive.

The Scot has enjoyed two comfortable wins to reach the last-eight stage and his all-round game should prove too strong for Lisowski.

However, Jackpot has showed that he has the breakbuilding talents to put up a good fight against the four-time Crucible king and backing over 21.5 frames in this best-of-25-frames contest looks the play.
