Sligo Rovers look well worth backing to record another Brandywell victory by beating Derry City.

Rovers were comfortable 2-0 winners over Derry before the mid-season break, though that was a particularly abject performance.

The Connacht side gave a good account against Shamrock Rovers last weekend and face a Derry outfit prone to conceding, whereas Sligo do not give much away at the back.

Derry got back to winning ways by beating St Patrick's last weekend, yet Sligo will fancy their prospects and could well go off as favourites.

Limerick have been highly-competitive recently and it seems a bit early to be making Bohemians 4-7 shots at home to a team that has been only mildly inferior to them in recent months.

Limerick's spirit is good and they nearly shocked St Patrick's, while Bohs have generally been struggling for form.

Limerick have had to put faith in young players, but they are promising ones, and the Blues look a decent wager. They are still hoping to avoid the playoffs and this is a massive game with that in mind.

St Patrick's Athletic are probably safe and should beat Bray easily. Wanderers conceded around a dozen big chances against Cork and it is hard to see them getting anything at Richmond Park.

The big game sees Waterford United host Cork City, who need to win to keep their title hopes realistic. Cork looked ropey defensively in Bray and will struggle to hold off the Blues attack on that evidence, but they should certainly enjoy some fortune at the other end of the pitch.
