A late pre-season change of team wasn't enough to stop Sebastien Ogier winning a fifth straight World Rally Drivers Championship last season and the French phenomenon is worth backing to make it six in a row.
Ogier had to find a new home after Volkswagen's sudden withdrawal, and despite taking only two wins for Ford, he beat Hyundai's Thierry Neuville by 24 points.
It took only four races for all four manufacturers to pick up a win last year, but with a full season with Ford under his belt and a proper winter testing program completed, Ogier should be in better shape this time.
Ford have invested more heavily in the team this year and Ogier will be a popular pick to win the season-opening Monte Carlo Rally for the fifth straight year.
Last year's success come only after Neuville had crashed out of a huge lead and bookmakers have taken no chances with the big names in what should be a competitive field.
However Ogier's teammate, Welsh driver Elfyn Evans, who claimed his maiden win in front of his home crowd last year, could be value.
Evans has been given a more senior role within the team this year and he has a fine Monte record, with four straight top-eight finishes and victory in the WRC2 category in 2016.
