Preview

Greece have by no means set Group B alight in World Cup qualifying but they should have enough in their locker to defeat Georgia this weekend.

The Greeks are unbeaten after four qualifying fixtures, having drawn three of them, and enjoyed a big boost with a 2-1 victory over Sweden last time out in September.

Sweden pretty much fielded a full-strength team on that occasion but lost the contest in Athens and this week's opponents Georgia should represent a step-down in quality for Greece.

Georgia's only point in qualifying so far came from the reverse fixture with Greece but they have since lost matches to the Netherlands, Kosovo, Spain and Bulgaria.

Their current squad looks light on attacking quality with Tornike Okriashvili the only experienced out-and-out striker selected and they are worth opposing.

Rarely do matches involving minnows San Marino create much betting interest but a certain prolific Pole could be a great bet to notch a hat-trick against them this weekend in Warsaw.

Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski is among the leading scorers in European World Cup 2022 qualification with six goals for Poland and he is worth a bet at evens with bet365 to add another three to his tally against San Marino, who lost 7-1 at home to the Poles last month.

Lewandowski netted twice inside 21 minutes on that occasion but was later subbed off with fellow forward Adam Buksa the man to bag a hat-trick in the game.

But Poland's main man can go one better this time around against a team who lost their last qualifier 5-0 against Albania.
