Preview

Real Madrid v Real Sociedad

Sevilla are doing their utmost to keep tabs on Real Madrid in La Liga's title race but Carlo Ancelotti's men have shown time and again they can handle the pressure at the top.

Real will naturally have one eye on next week's crucial Champions League second leg against Paris Saint-Germain but Los Blancos should nonetheless beat Real Sociedad.

While Madrid have kept four straight clean sheets in La Liga, winning three of those matches, their Basque opponents have had a tough time of it recently, losing to rivals Athletic Bilbao 4-0 and being dumped out of the Europa League by Leipzig.

They have recovered to beat Osasuna and Mallorca by narrow margins in their last two games.

But they could lack the ruthlessness in attack to break down a well-marshalled Madrid defence who have shipped only 20 goals in 26 league matches.

Roma v Atalanta

Roma will play Saturday's contest against Atalanta without Jose Mourinho directing from the sidelines as the Portuguese boss continues to serve his two-match ban awarded for the gestures he made to a match official in the club's 2-2 draw with Verona last month.

But that should not faze the capital club who are on a six-game unbeaten run and have lost only three times at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A this season.

They should also be boosted by the fact Atalanta remain without top scorer Duvan Zapata and key creative outlet Josip Ilicic.

The Bergamo club have managed only one win in their last six league contests and Roma can capitalise.

Bayern Munich v Bayer Leverkusen

Bayern Munich have not been at their imperious best in the last month or so, having lost to Bochum and drawn with Salzburg in February.

And with a catalogue of key players such as Alphonso Davies, Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka and Lucas Hernandez missing this Saturday, they make little appeal at odds-on to beat Bayer Leverkusen.

Instead, backing goals looks the way to go. Leverkusen's Bundesliga matches have featured an average of 4.25 goals per game this season - the most in the division - and they did not hold back against Borussia Dortmund last month, winning 5-2.

That kind of attacking mentality points to a high-scoring game at the Allianz Arena with over 3.5 goals the best bet.
