Football never stops and while there are only three Premier League matches on Saturday they are all big ones with Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea returning from Champions League action to battle out for vital domestic points.

City, who host Leeds, need another 11 points to be crowned champions, while Chelsea and Liverpool are in serious danger of missing out on Champions League football for next season. The Blues travel to Crystal Palace and Liverpool host Aston Villa aiming for revenge after a staggering 7-2 loss in the reverse fixture.

Bets to be placed by 3pm

Bolton to beat Harrogate

Port Vale to beat Morecambe

Salford to beat Stevenage

Tranmere to beat Scunthorpe

Harrogate have not scored in four games and promotion-chasing Bolton will fancy their chances of claiming maximum points having won five of their last six at home. Port Vale, having won five straight, can claim a sixth victory over Morecambe and Salford's unbeaten home run should continue with a win against Stevenage. Complete the acca with Tranmere, who are fancied to triumph over Scunthorpe.

Man City to win and both teams to score

Liverpool v Aston Villa

Sky Sports Premier League, 3pm

Liverpool have lost their last six matches at Anfield, were given the runaround by Real Madrid in midweek and were taken to the cleaners in the reverse fixture. That does not inspire confidence in the Reds at short prices and Villa are fancied to frustrate the hosts.

Aston Villa or draw double chance

Crystal Palace v Chelsea

Sky Sports Premier League, 5.30pm

Chelsea have kept eight clean sheets in their last nine matches in all competitions and should be capable of shutting out shot-shy Crystal Palace in a tight Selhurst Park showdown.

Bet of the day

Real Madrid to beat Barcelona
Premier 1 & FreeSports 8pm

Real Madrid showed their liking for big games with a win over Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday and they look a big price as outsiders against a Barcelona side who have mainly been beating inferior opponents in recent months.

Corners bet of the day

Motherwell v St Mirren 3pm

Bookmakers are overestimating corners just because there have been many in recent meetings between the teams. There have been under 10.5 corners in 58 per cent of all Scottish Premiership matches this season, making the 37-40 with bet365 worthy of a bet.
