Saints can go marching on against the Pars
Dunfermline left in the wake of rampant Buddies
BT Sport 1, 7.45pm Friday
St Mirren suffered a serious jolt to their confidence last week, but they've proved they are capable of bouncing back from previous setbacks in style and can win at Dunfermline to move 11 points clear of Dundee United in the Ladbrokes Championship.
The Paisley side were well beaten 4-1 by Aberdeen in the William Hill Scottish Cup last week, but that was a blip on a consistent run that had seen them eight out of their last ten league games.
Dunfermline were also bundled out of the cup last week at home to Morton but there is a reason they are 15 points behind Saints, who are classier than the Pars and can show that at East End Park.
1pt 17-10 Hills
Lee Ashcroft and Callum Smith are available for the Pars.
The Saints could hand a debut to on-loan Celtic midfielder Mark Hill. Adam Eckersley may return from injury.
St Mirren have scored in 13 of their last 14 games.
