Sabbir is set to sparkle for Bangladesh
Tigers' number three scored 80 in last T20 against Sri Lanka
After drawing the Test and one-day series, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh contest the first of two Twenty20 internationals in Colombo and the Lankans are 4-6 favourites.
They have lost their last six 20-over matches at the R Premadasa Stadium, but opponents Bangladesh are on a seven-match losing streak in the shortest format.
While the hosts are likely to shuffle their batting line-up, the Tigers have a more settled top order and Sabbir Rahman can sparkle at number three.
Sabbir scored 80 off 54 balls in his last T20 game against Sri Lanka and he has been impressively consistent since his promotion to three.
He has been dismissed for a single-figure score only twice in 19 innings since the start of 2016, scoring 40 or more in seven of those knocks.
