Rusty Rovers are no match for Hearts

Hearts defender Perry Kitchen

William Hill Scottish Cup
BBC1 Scotland, 1.05pm Sunday

Hearts should be far too classy for Raith Rovers to cause a shock in Kirkcaldy.

Former Tynecastle manager and hero Gary Locke is now Rovers boss and will enjoy coming up against Ian Cathro’s men, who are just back from their winter break.

But although the young coach has had an indifferent start to his management career in Scotland, Rovers are struggling for form themselves.

They lack punch up front and are struggling for confidence. Cathro has been busy in the transfer market and Stark’s Park could see several new faces make their debuts, including ex-Newcastle stopper Aaron Hughes.

Catho will be determined that his side come out of the traps quickly and they could be worth backing in the half time-full time market.

Recommendation
Hearts-Hearts double result
