Toulouse v Leinster
BT Sport 2, 3.15pm Sunday

This clash brings together two teams who have won the Champions Cup four times each, but only one looked like European conquerors in round one.

Toulouse came away from Bath with a fortunate win but Leinster absolutely tore Wasps apart in such emphatic style that they were cut from 9-4 to 11-8 in one fell swoop.

In 63 European pool matches on home soil, Toulouse have lost just ten and yet are 4-1 to overcome the reigning champions.

Leinster's astounding all-round game, delivering quick ball with players from one to 15 filling in as scrum-half or first receiver, proved impossible for Wasps to resist and it looks set to be a similar story for Toulouse, who lack the star quality of their heyday in the ranks.

Recommendation
Leinster -8

Cardiff v Glasgow
BT Sport 3, 3.15pm Sunday

This could be an entertaining clash as Cardiff, buoyed by an impressive win in Lyon last week, take on a Glasgow side bursting with attacking intent.

The Warriors could find no way past mighty Saracens in week one but they have lost just once in five Pro14 outings to sit top of their conference.

Cardiff have been solid enough at home though, beating Munster and edged out by a single point against Leinster, and should make home advantage count.

Recommendation
Cardiff to win by one to 12 points

Newcastle v Montpellier
BT Sport 2, 1pm Sunday

Newcastle stole the headlines in round one by winning at three-time winners Toulon while Montpellier were made to work for a home win over Edinburgh.

Montpellier were among the front-runners at the start of this competition but away trips to Tyneside and Scotland have to be a concern for a team who have won five of 21 European away trips.

However, the French side have former All Blacks fly-half Aaron Cruden back in their star-studded side and look worth chancing to cover a modest handicap.

Recommendation
Montpellier -3
2pts Evs Betway, Hills
