Preview

Sale established themselves as one of the strongest attacking outfits in the first half of the Premiership season and they look worth backing to carry on where they left off when they take on Harlequins at the Stoop on Friday night.

It's hard to know how teams will perform after a four-month suspension of fixtures, but Sale have used that time to sign Manu Tuilagi from Leicester and the England centre goes straight into the starting line-up.

He slots into a backline featuring international wingers Byron McGuigan and Marland Yarde, while South African duo Faf de Klerk and Robert du Preez provide the spark at nine and ten.

The Sharks have score 26 tries in six matches in 2020, a run that started with a 48-10 blitz of Quins at home in January, when they ran in six tries.

Quins have won twice in their last six - against a Sarries second string just after the champions' relegation was confirmed, and against Exeter thanks to a late and controversial penalty try.

If Sale hit the ground running they should cover a modest five-point handicap.
